A Day of Clay Pigeon Shooting

The James Talylor Group was absolutely thrilled to hold a corporate clay pigeon shooting event at Lea Valley Shooting Ground, Hertford.

The day started at 9.30 am where guests were met with a good old fashion breakfast, tea and coffee. After group introductions and safety talks the shooting was soon underway. The instructors ensured the day was thoroughly enjoyable for our guests. Safety is of course paramount when hosting such an event and this was seamlessly taken care of with ideal settings, giving us access to a multitude of scenarios and opportunities to take numerous shots from varying aspects and speeds.

Around 40 shooters – both experienced and novice – took part with an eye on the silverware. With expert coaching on hand, the event was an excellent introduction to the sport for novices, whilst also catering for experienced shooters to home in their skills.

After an enjoyable day shooting, guests assembled in the dining room where they were treated to a delicious buffet lunch. Next were the presentations for the Winning Team led by James Taylor Construction Operation Director and novice Patrick O’Donnell, Best Male Shot was won by Brian Saidman of James Lewis & Co, with Best Female Shot won by Sarah Dix of Barclays.
